Graceland Moving To Nashville?

There’s no way anyone would move Graceland, Elvis Presley’s home in Memphis…or is there?

A recent article in the Wall Street Journal certainly got people talking, especially on social media.A spokesman for the people that run Graceland was quoted as saying that they had received offers to move Graceland to Nashville or even places like the Middle East and Asia.

Some took that as a “threat” to Memphis city officials, who are considering whether or not to approve a planned $100 million expansion project.Elvis Presley Enterprises said that they’re ready to go with the project, even if the Memphis city council doesn’t include any tax breaks.Graceland gets between 500,000 and 750,000 visitors every year, making it the second-most visited private home in the country, after the White House.
