The Twins Winter Caravan Coming To Wadena!

KWAD/KNSP A.M. Radio is excited to announce the Twins Winter Caravan 2019 will be making a stop in Wadena on Wednesday, Jan. 23! The caravan will be at Wadena-Deer Creek Middle/High School Gym at approximately 11 a.m. This event is free and open to the public.

Scheduled to appear include new manager Rocco Baldelli, left fielder Eddie Rosario, pitcher Jose Berrios, and radio broadcaster Kris Atteberry.

KWAD/KNSP A.M. Radio will be co-hosting this event with Wadena-Deer Creek Public Schools. The station has broadcasted Twins games on KWAD/KNSP for more than 50 years.

“To get the opportunity to see the Twins new manager, Rocco Baldelli, as well as current players, is a thrill for all ages,” said Corey Tackmann, Sports Director, KWAD/KNSP/KKWS Radio.

The 59th annual Twins Winter Caravan is presented by Case IH and features stops in more than 40 communities throughout Twins Territory between Jan. 14 and Jan. 24.

The Twins Winter Caravan is one of the longest-running and most extensive offseason team caravans in professional sports. It features groups of current and former players visiting schools, hospitals, corporations and service clubs.

The Twins Caravan likes the enthusiastic reception they’ve received here in Wadena and that’s why they keep coming back.
