MNsure Opening Special COVID Enrollment Period

Minnesota’s health insurance marketplace is opening a three-month special enrollment period February 16 for those without MNsure coverage.

The Biden Administration announced in late January that it will allow people to enroll in the Affordable Care Act during the COVID pandemic.

Minnesota runs its own health exchange (MNsure) and state officials said that it will run at the same time as the federal program and will be open for enrollees from February 16 to May 17.

MNsure ran a similar special enrollment period at the start of the pandemic last March and enrolled nearly 10,000 Minnesotans.
