Most Area Schools Have Delayed Starts Friday

Another blast of arctic air has caused most area schools to delay the start of their day.

As of 6 o’clock this morning, three districts have cancelled classes for today.  They include:  Alexandria, Bertha-Hewitt and Osakis.

Wadena-Deer Creek schools and buses will be running three hours late.

Here’s the list of districts that will be two hours late today..

Ashby, Battle Lake, Brandon-Evansville, Browerville, Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls, Frazee, Henning, Laporte, Little Falls, Long Prairie-Grey Eagle, Menahga, Minnewaska Area, Nevis, New York Mills, Park Rapids Area, Parkers Prairie, Pelican Rapids, Perham, Sebeka, Staples-Motley, Swanville, Underwood, Upsala and Verndale.

In addition, Leaf River/White Pine/Elm Tree Academy and M-State (Fergus Falls) will be opening two hours late.
