Royalton Class Ring Found In Wadena

A class ring belonging to a member of the Royalton High School Class of 2005 has turned up about 70 miles to the northwest.

One day last fall, I was shopping at Super One Foods in Wadena.  An employee approached me, knowing that I worked at the radio station, and asked if I would be able to help find the rightful owner of a class ring that had been found in the store.

I was that I would “do what I can” and put the ring in my pocket.

When I got home, I put the ring in a dresser drawer for safe keeping and planned to post a story and picture of the ring on our websites and Facebook pages.

“Out of site, out of mind,” as the saying goes, and the ring got pushed further to the back of the drawer until reemerging this spring.

The numbers “05” and the words “Royalton High” are on the top of the ring.  The year “2005” is on both sides.

A name also appears to be inscribed on the inside of the ring, but I’ll refrain from putting it here, so that it can be used to positively identify the rightful owner.

I’m assuming it belongs to someone who went to high school in Royalton, MN, but I suppose there could be other Royalton High Schools that I’m not aware of.

If you are missing your class ring, or you know someone who has lost theirs, reach out to us through our Facebook pages or call us at 1-800-733-5923.
