A Staples man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash in Cass County on Wednesday, July 15.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash occurred at the intersection of Highway 64 and 60th St NW, about 19 miles north of Motley, just after 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The state patrol said an SUV drven by 82-year-old Russell Nanik of Staples was eastbound on 60th St NW, when it failed to yield and collided with a pickuo traveling south on Highway 63.
Nanik suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in the Twin Cities. His current condition was not known.
The driver of the pickup, 67-year-old William Salter of Ramsey, had non-life threatening injuries and was treated at the scene.
