Wadena-Deer Creek’s CEO Class Stops For A Visit

The Central Minnesota CEO Program swung through on Friday for a short tour and question/answer session on Friday.

The CEO (Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities) class is a super unique program offered at WDC. It was cool to have them in the building to show them around our little slice of heaven. It was also neat to have the question/answer session with them. All I could think about was how smart their questions were and how not smart I am. We talked about day-to-day operations, sales, country music, and some other stuff too!

CEO Advisor Cindi Koll had this to say about the program,

Central MN Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities Class ia a non-traditional class that puts students in real life situations.  Each student is paired with a local business person mentor. The class creates a class business/event and then each student starts their own small business that will be showcased at a Trade Show in May.

I’d encourage you to check out their website to learn more about the class, the kids, and the future being built. I’m jealous of the opportunities kids have in school today and know that we’re all going to be in a better place in the future because of these opportunities.
